Hard to believe that next Sunday will put us halfway through the regular season already, we've seen some great hockey and week 5 was no exception with virtually every game being close at least until the end. Three teams remain undefeated, but with 2 of them facing off head to head in week 6 which team will go the longest before tasting defeat? Wins in week 5 by POTI and the Wannabes have left only one team In Russ We Trust still searching for their first victory, I don't see it being much longer until they find their stride, will this be their week? Ferguson domination as Bald Brent only allows 1 and Beautiful Chelsea snipes 2
After being down 1-0 at the intermission, Bald and the Beautiful loaded up one of their lines and it paid off early as sharpshooter Chelsea Ferguson 🚨🚨🍏 netted 2 goals in the opening 4 minutes and star playmaker Dan Ballem 🚨🍏🍏🍏 got 1g-3a as they went on to beat Wake Me Up Before You Rogo 4-1. Veteran tender Brent Ferguson was solid as he denied 30 of 31 shots he faced.
Sniper Brock Murray 🚨 potted the only goal in a losing effort.
Smiling Bruce, tendy Toste, and spare Zach are Who lead the way in Whotown's 5-3 win
Underrated spare rearguard Zach Verge 🚨🚨 and smiling sniper Bruce Boivin 🚨🚨 each light the lamp twice and star netminder Steve Toste denies 46 of 49 shots as Whotown Forever score a 5-3 victory over Big Bang Theory.
Captain elite Michel Blondeau 🚨🍏🍏 got 1g-2a and one of his brother-in-law teammates Jason Kellar 🚨🍏 got 1g-1a in the loss.
Masked man Marty was stellar and Zach Attacks with 2 snipes in 2nd-half blowout of Cowboys
After an even 0-0 1st half, Zack Attack pour it on in the 2nd stanza as underranked blueliner Zach Verge 🚨🚨tickles the twine twice while Ryan Hawkins🚨, Missy Newhook 🚨, and Patrick Auger 🚨 score the other 3 goals en route to a 5-1 win over the Modern Day Cowboys.

Cannon-baller reaguard Stott was Pucking lucky, or good, in collecting a hatty plus 2 helpers
Veteran rearguard Chris Stott 🎩🎩🎩🍏🍏 erupts for a hat-trick plus 2 assists, pugnacious Frank Zic 🚨🚨🍏gets 2g-1a, and star goalie Stephane Portelance chips in 2 assists along with turning aside 31 of 33 shots in Puck of the Irish's big 7-2 triumph over New Office on the Block.
Fireballers Shawn Blais 🚨 and Mark Yeates 🚨 scored the goals for the Newbies. Star playmaker JoJo really Wannabe a winner as she nets the GWG and protects her cage from Trusty attacks
Down 4-2 with just over 7 minutes left to play, the winless Wannabes seemed to draw some energy from their always-positive and dancing captain Faith Murray as they scored 3 unanswered goals to end the game. The comeback was capped off by a nice late eventual game-winner by star playmaker Josianne Garneau 🚨, assisted by her hubby JF Labelle 🍏 and her brother Jean-Luc Garneau 🍏, as the Wannabes hold on to beat In Russ We Trust 5-4.
Known for her masterful offensive skills, Josianne also stood out for her strong defensive plays especially in the dying moments of the game when she was throwing her body all over the floor to desperately try to block shots to help protect her team's 1st victory of the season.
Bradley McCarter 🚨🚨, Richard Tattrie 🚨🍏, Renee Emby 🚨🍏, and rookie Aurelie Bernier 🍏🍏 each picked up 2 points for the Spicy winners, while on the other side, sniper Michelle Heggison 🚨🚨 netted 2 goals and rearguard Sara Bruce 🚨🍏 had 1g-1a. Hustlers Brant, Toste up to their old tricks as they burn the Boys with 2 hatties, 5 assists
Ultimate playmaker Steven Toste 🎩🎩🎩🍏🍏🍏🍏 amasses 3g-4a, his linemate and offensive catalyst Kelly Brant 🎩🎩🎩🍏 also nets a hat-trick plus 1 assist, and super spare Rob Clark 🚨🍏🍏🍏🍏 gets 1g-4a in the Hustlers' impressive 7-4 win over the Brock Street Boys.
Sharpshooting rearguard Denis Dodd 🚨🚨 and speedy playmaker Élise Berthiaume 🚨🍏 each had 2 points in the loss. Luby love birds Kiyomi & Squires do their magic with 6 points to dismantle Pandas
In a back-and-forth affair that went down to the wire, sniper Kiyomi Takahara 🚨🍏 took advantage of a favourable bounce to score the game-winner with just 24 ticks showing on the clock. Her main squeeze, magic man Jeff Squires 🚨🚨🍏🍏, picked up 2g-2a and steady spare JF Labelle 🚨🚨 rifled home 2 goals in the Lube Jobs' 6-4 (en) victory over Bamanda's Pandas.
Ty St-Jean 🚨🍏, Andre Monette 🚨🍏, Spencer McDonald 🚨🍏, and Jon McMaster 🍏🍏 each had 2 points in the tough-luck loss. Juice Justin was a Brecque wall, dishmasters Rene & Mylene Hit on 5 assists as they Cruise to victory
Power couple Rene de Montigny 🚨🍏🍏 and Mylene Frechette 🍏🍏🍏 were the dishmasters once again as they combined for 5 assists in helping set up Hit The Brecques' solid 4-1 win over the Sunday Cruisers. Star goaltender Justin Labrecque turned aside 33 of 34 shots in the winning cage.
Sisters-in-law Nathalie Blondeau 🚨 and Melissa Blondeau 🍏 combined for the Cruisers' only tally as Nathalie mashed the mesh on a nice shot from the slot. |
